Summary: As Amy and Ryoshi stare up at the stars with their kids, Ryoshi realizes that this is the exact same scene as a dream that he once had, and because of that, they know for sure that this is the way they want to live for the rest of their lives.

At long last, we have finally reached the end of our long RP series! The thing is about these sorts of RP groups is that we could theoretically continue on with this series for like, forever, so long as we 1) kept getting ideas, and 2) had the time to execute them out. But given how I neither have any new ideas, motivation, or time for these two, I feel like this is as good as it's ever going to get with Amy, Ryoshi, and their family. If only I had a few more years of college left to go, I might have been able to continue for as long, but instead, I feel like my skills at this point are good enough to start working on original stories.

Another thing I've come to realize as the difference between stories I work on and RPs with other people is that I have a vast difference in terms of what I can tolerate. With stories I work on by myself, I can throw my characters through pretty much anything with no problems, but when it comes to RPing with other people, NOPE, anything very hard feels that much more offensive. Which is why if most of the RPs that me and ChicoChikorita have done had been more heartwarming than suspenseful or dramatic, it's because of that; it would be pretty bad for my emotional well-being if I were to RP out drama after drama. Trust me. I know. Which is why I'm most likely not going to join any more RP groups from now on (or if I do, I'll certainly won't be RPing with other people...which seems to destroy the point of joining one in the first place, but I was able to get away with it for most of PMD-E, so yeah).

So I figure that to be able to start writing dramatic stuff again (and hopefully make money off of it!), I should start working on my own projects now. Then again, there does seem to be a cycle in which I can focus on something for 1 to 2 years before I feel like that, once I finish it, I'd like to move onto another story. Yeah, it seems capricious, but that's how my mind works. It's what allows me to keep moving on, improve my storytelling skills, and come up with stories of a wide variety of genres and themes. Heck, in the normal order of things, as soon as I'm finished writing one story, however long it takes, it's onto the other. And since I'm a huge fan of happy endings that wrap up neatly to begin with, that makes it even harder for me to work with something that's supposed to "run on forever", like said RP groups.

Anyway! I have to say that, while I was figuring all this out, I was very fortunate to have decided to work with Cecil all the way since March 2013. We both learned a lot about our characters and historical accuracies in the process, as well as how a romance storyline works, and we had fun RPing as them the whole time living out the life they always wanted to live, even amidst sweeping changes like the introduction of Gen 6 mechanics. He has been a longtime watcher and fan of my works, and I feel so lucky to have gotten to work with him as much as I have this past one and a half years. Of all the collaborators I've worked with so far on dA, he's definitely one of people I've enjoyed the most~.

Now, while I might remove my characters from Pokemon-of-Avalon's official listings so that they don't take up space anymore, and Cecil will do the same so he can replace Ryoshi and friends with his all-new crew, this doesn't mean that Amy and Ryoshi are gone from Aether forever. (After all, Amy *was* the one who named Aether in the first place. XD) Instead, they'll be minor characters in the background still living in town, and if anyone feels the need to mention them or even interact with them in their RPs, they're perfectly allowed to. It's just that we won't be actively making more RPs featuring these two as the main characters; that's all.

While I go on and develop my original works, Cecil will be introducing his new characters, based off of Team Chlorasteel, his old Rescuer team from PMD-E. Except that this time, it's their PoA counterparts; exactly like how PoA Amy is nothing like PMD-E Amy at all. I'm really excited to help him out with their introductory RPs since I know he wants to continue to enjoy this group. As for my admin duties? Don't worry; I plan to stick around and keep missions released on time, at least until Mission 7, anyway.

We both really enjoy Amy, Ryoshi, their kids, and their families, and I believe they'll always hold a special place in our hearts. And since I have an actual boyfriend now, it feels like a logical conclusion that RPing as them helped me prepare for such a relationship the whole time.
