I'm doing the casino mission for #PMD-Explorers' Mission 6:

-Head to Alomomola City ***Complete!***
-Enter King’s Rock Casino, show letter to gain access backstage ***Uh...kind of?***
-Perform a show with Hugh in place of Dee ***Complete!***
-Retrieve sizeable cash reward from Anana ***Complete!***

And the Rescuers' main mission...sort of.

-Find Winston and Maple ***Apparently, Rigley already did that.***
-Rescue any missing Pokemon ***Complete!***

:bulletgreen::bulletgreen::bulletgreen: Team Elgyem, the Lone Rescuer :bulletgreen::bulletgreen::bulletgreen: and
:bulletpurple::bulletpurple::bulletpurple: Team Nighty Knights, the Rogues: :bulletpurple::bulletpurple::bulletpurple:

:bulletblack: Rank for both: Raichu

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Page 17 of 17. Maple gives a huge "inspirational speech" that comes out as tongue-lashing to the remaining members of the Rescuers guild. Seeing how badly she's cutting at their morale, Rigley insists that she let him help give a speech. The one he gives is so moving, so inspirational, and so...much better than the person he used to be that even Amy looks up, shocked. With his words, the Rescuers rally behind his cause, ready to take charge and help save the village.

AND I AM DONE! This was the big scene where I wanted to show just how much Rigley had grown in this mission alone. I wondered how Rigley would be like if he became the leader of the Rescuers and how he would do so much of a better job than either Maple or Winston. Of course, members can't officially become guild leaders (so far), so this was primarily a character-development scene more so than any indicator of an actual takeover. For some reason, Rigley seems to remind me more and more of Simon, main character of the anime Gurren Lagann. So it was only fitting that I depict him pointing to the sky as if his drill was the drill that would pierce the heavens.

Working in a black-and-white manga style was a ton of fun, and it definitely allowed me to get a lot more story done in the same amount of time than in color. I plan on doing more of these for any more non-Team Pecha missions. Feel free to leave your thoughts, critiques, etc. about the stories, characters, and everything else here!

:bulletblue: Maple the Stunky and Winston the Whimsicott are NPCs belonging to #PMD-Explorers.

Okay! Seems like you've finished with the entire story for this comic, so I guess its time to mark you based on what I observed.

------------

For starters, there are only 3 reasons why your originality and technique are still a bit lower than average.

1. You used a LOT of reference from many animes and games (and cartoon series) that you tweaked to make them seem quite realistically original. But nonetheless, the storyline is linear and powerful enough for people to understand and go through. (sice it aims for the story development, not the references) But considering that so MANY people did this as well, I'll put a higher marking. But its still well drawn nonetheless.

2. Specifically in page 5, You created the Alomomola City in squares and simple lines. It really gives a good image of what a town looks like. But some experts might consider this a bit "crude". But other details are give just fine.

3. Inking! This is important. Since any comic/manga artists would ink at variety of techniques. Yours is based on the usual Manga style (as you mentioned). Remember that when inking, there are certain things you want to pay attention (such as the lines, shadows and also the style). But seems like you portrayed it better for a first-timer, so I'm gonna let this part slide.

-------

Overall, there are a few reasons why this gives a very perfect vision and impact at the same time.

1. Character development is the main reason. The thing is that some (if not, so many) comic makers tend to go straight for the job and finish after mission is completed. But you took everything well into account of every pokemon's storyline, powers, the "emotional rollercoaster rides" and even makes your team more confident, powerful and gives a perfectly well-balanced emphasis on everything you're offering to us readers and fans. Its no wonder that you're one of the most creative artists here in PMD-Explorers.

2. The drawings of all your characters, they all have good emphasis on the story and you performed the coloring of the picture most nicely. IT really affects those who read this from the first to the last page.

3. The most important thing here is Effect and Endings. Changes in that part of the story can affect the power and impact of your comic, which you manage to successfully complete with ease. This makes so many people want to come near you (not literally, of course!) to learn from the experts. Even I am attracted by you as well..

So, overall approval score is about

175.22/200

Hope you can make more of these in the future! But of course, you already know so much about the artistic views that this is probably, just simply, a brief compliment from me than a critique.
