I just loooooove the last three panels, the unexpected change of colors really adds a very lovely touch of intense drama and suspense~! Oh, and for those of you who MIGHT be thinking, "Pfft, I thought Tori was bold, why is she hiding behind a bush?!" WELL, I thought about it and in her defense, I say, there is a BIG difference between being "bold" and being "rash". Though Tori proves to have a tongue more sharp and bold than she is in battle, HOWEVER, (usually) in fighting situations, she's not stupid. She is aware of her size disadvantage and limits in her strength, thus she has to play it smart; usually when she's up against a foe much larger and considerably stronger than her (or at least you can assume they're stronger if they're bigger than you and an evolved form ahead of you), she'll rely on more stealthy tactics. Yes, that means she can be a backstabber... literally! XD Ha ha, (despite that, if you've read my previous comics, you'd see her taking on Pokemon more than 10 times her own size. Why is it different in this case? All those previous occasions where one-on-one battles, this present situation isn't since she now has allies fighting at her side.) Thank you and I hope ya'll continue enjoying this comic~ the main event is barely getting started! Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that the presence of Edison Pachirisu is suppose to be a sentimental tribute/surprise gift to Springheel's enthusiasm and his Edison's self-insertion to the events of this comic from the sidelines.

And this page marks the first page of this whole comic in which Bisharp finally gets to extend his arm and chest blades! Yes, I know the art on his application form has them already extended, but that's just to show how long they can go out. As I'm sure you've all noticed, he usually keeps them retracted, not just because he's a very laid-back guy, but in order to adapt to life in Tao Village and for him to be much less of a danger to his family and friends. In fact, one major reason that he has rounded shoulder pads instead of his species' usual pointed ones was not only that he inherited them from his mom, but so I could draw Ralts and Lipless riding on them when necessary. Though when I see how Crim draws them even smaller to convey his young age, I actually like that use better, especially since he hasn't actually carried anyone on his shoulder pads recently. (I suspect that, compared to Crim, I draw my tiny characters on the rather large size.)
