:star: History: :star:

Ellie hatched in the middle of the Slowpoke Slums part of Tao Village on a dark and stormy night. She always had a vague feeling that it was her father who left her there, and that she also had a name, but could never figure out that answers to either of those questions. At first, the little Ralts wasn't sure why she could move way faster than the indigenous Slowpokes, but soon realized it was because they were a completely different species, and quickly got used to it.

For the longest time, she had to survive by stealing food from Tao Village for herself and everyone else in the slums. Little did she know that Rogue Guild Masters Gunpowder and Devonshire had noticed her efforts, and figured it would be an excellent boon to their guild if she were to join. But she always ran so quickly that they could never figure out where she lived.

She probably would have lived like this for the rest of her life if it weren't for Jody the Bisharp and her son Joe coming by one day. Jody was teaching her son about the value of life and what it really meant to be a Rogue. To demonstrate, she left a bunch of food for the Slowpokes, and Ellie attempted to snatch the food instead. Jody stopped her and ordered her to give a full and complete explanation. To Ellie' surprise, after listening to her story, Jody took pity on her and asked if she wanted to come along and join the Rogues' guild, since she was going there to register her son for it to begin with. Ellie happily agreed. It was also at this point where Jody and her son gave her the name "Ralts", because they thought it sounded good (and they both sucked at coming up with creative names).

But Ellie was really in it for the food or whatever she could get to buy food, and that included money. She snuck away and found herself in Gunpowder's treasure room, but was caught by his Stealth Rock security system. Devonshire recognized her, and instead of punishing her, asked if she really DID want to join. He promised that if she were to join, she would never have to go hungry again, and this time, she joined for real.

She had an extremely difficult time dealing with everyone's conflicting emotions, though, and a few of the Rogues didn't like how a cute little girl like her in there would ruin the guild's tough reputation. They bullied her, but luckily, Joe (known as Bisharp the Pawniard back then) saw what was going on and saved her by punching the bullies through the wall. Of course, Devonshire got the idea to make the two of them a team before sending them to buy materials to repair the wall. It was Ellie who originally thought of the name "Team Nighty Knights" because of how much Joe looked like a brave, strong, handsome knight in shining armor.

While outside buying the wall repair materials, Ellie noticed Amy, Chikorita, Ligray, and Rigley, and seeing how happy they were, decided to follow them. They became fast friends, and after convincing them that she wasn't going to be mean to them, she was allowed to live in the then-Pecha Berry House. They were quite impressed by her ability to sense people's feelings, too.

Wanting to pay Devonshire and Gunpowder back for their kindness, Ellie insisted on doing as many missions as possible, but because Joe was so lazy, she ended up doing all of the hard work herself, and to make matters worse, received little recognition for it all. Luckily, by Event 3, Joe decided to make it up to her by letting her choose her own reward. Instead of evolving, which she had doubts of since Amy and Chikorita urged her to think it over more carefully (and because she observed how female Kirlias and Gardevoirs were...well, pursued), she chose a Gothita egg. It didn't matter that the hatched Gothita didn't have lips—Ellie was thrilled to have a little sister to care for. Better yet, this little sister was really happy, too!

After Mission 6, she moved into Joe's old home; a cave in the middle of Tao Woods. She was thrilled that she gets to live with Joe's parents, a couple who really, really loves each other, and had figured out that Joe was going to become a big brother soon.

Unfortunately, due to the unexpected outcome of Event 6.2, she had become teleported away from her team into Creeping Forest in the past. It was then that Bandit the Shuppet appeared and chased her, feeding off of her suffering, and said that he'd kill Jasmine. Enraged, Ellie fought as hard as she could to track down, reach Jasmine, and rescue her before Bandit could, and after much struggle, finally convinced Jasmine to teleport them to where PK and Iceburg were, saving her life.

However, it was then that she discovered Bandit's true feelings, with his stomach then becoming empty, and felt sorry for being so angry at him. She said that she'd be his very first friend no matter what. He was surprised, but accepted, and then disappeared right as her friends finally found her.

A much-nicer Bandit suddenly reappeared in Mission 8, when the village was under attack by the Dark Moon Clan, and through his efforts, he helped her overcome her fear of nightmares, evolve, and successfully defend Jasmine from being killed. She then saw her friends being taken back to the present by Amy and Darren (who unfortunately didn't recognize her at the time), and manage to convince Perry to shoot her and Bandit at the portal, right as it closed...sending her and Bandit to Alomomola Beach.

There, Bandit ended up thinking of the new name "Ellie" for her, and she liked it, feeling that it was somehow familiar. She also found that though she was starting to have a crush on Bandit, he didn't like her back, to her disappointment. But she was still glad she ever met him, and willingly let him steal her first kiss, thinking at the time that she'd never be able to find a guy.

The Kirlia was proven dead wrong after Bandit took her back home, where she happily reunited with Joe and company, though, after she went on the mission to take a lava stone from Dren. Though Gabriel the snowy owl-like Togekiss greatly opposed her taking the mission, she insisted on doing so, wanting to see if Bandit would stop her in the hopes of seeing him again...but he never came. She did, however, convince Gabriel to spare Dren's life, and in the end, Gabriel realized that it was wrong to just use great power to pass judgment down on anyone considered a possible threat when they might not be. He asked her if she would join him to help provide some sort of moral conscience in his mission to do good in the world, and she happily agreed, excited to finally be doing something that would make her life worthwhile.

She then went on several adventures with Gabriel, including a visit to a high school alternate universe version of Tao (where she picked up a love for a certain Po-ke-oh card game that's never faded), as well as finally seeing her parents and big sister Mira for the first time, only to end up having to put a stop to her mother's evil schemes. Sometime much later, she finally managed to evolve into a Gardevoir, feeling that, thanks to everything she learned from power-hungry Gabriel, she could finally handle the responsibility over so much power.

Today, Ellie lives with Joe, Lipless, and Elena in the cave of Joe's parents, and is very happy that she's back. But now there's a problem...she's sort of somehow gotten herself into the awkward position of both Bandit and Gabrial being jealous over her. Oh well. If they ever fight again, she'll be sure to knock some sense into them with her new powers of awesome.

:star: Current Personality: :star:

Now that Ellie's finally a Gardevoir, she's become even more assertive than ever before. She's way more likely to argue and debate in order to get her way, even to the point of dueling people in "card games". Best of all, she doesn't have nightmares anymore! Apparently, with her final evolution, her brain is now of a maturity equivalent to that of a 21-year-old. She's well aware of it by now though, and thinks it's actually quite convenient, as she's now a lot less afraid than she used to be.

Given her rather disastrous first couple of experiences with romance (both guys she fell in love with only wanted to be friends with her and ended up fighting with each other anyway), she's not nearly as romantic as she used to be. If one wanted to get her to love them back, they would have to try really really really really really really hard, I mean REALLY hard, to even have a chance at succeeding with the now-cynical Ellie.

Ellie is very well in-tune with what the people of Tao Village are feeling. She knows who recently fell in love, whether the other person loves them back or not, who broke up lately, whose child had recently been born (or died), who is ticked off at the guild leaders again, who wants to apologize to a best friend they accidentally offended, and much, much more. Now that's she's more of an adult, people aren't nearly frightened as they used to be about someone like her knowing about how they feel, which is another reason why she's happy she evolved.

Nowadays, she actually doesn't mind if she's mistaken for a boy...*pfft*...like that'll ever happen with an appearance like hers. If anything, she's likely to punch people out for accusing her of being TOO girly.

Though when it comes to fashion, she can be surprisingly girly if she wants to be, but she also prefers practical, simple stuff. In other words, her brown messenger bag is perfectly enough to suffice. So she's actually around Chikorita's level; she just doesn't show it.

Sometimes, Ellie forgets that most everyone else can't sense people's emotions like she can, which causes her to become frustrated and upset at how "cartoonishly idiotic" they are. No really; a perfect analogy for her feelings in those circumstances is the feeling you get when you're watching a cartoon on TV, and the characters make decisions that you know are just plain stupid, such as people being fooled by a disguise that you can see through a mile away. That's the reality for Ellie every day. But at the same time, she uses this ability to gain the upper hand on annoying people who aren't aware of this skill of hers.

If one were to try and guess which person of Team Nighty Knights was the leader, now, they would likely pick Ellie over Joe any day. Why? Because Ellie knows how to run a team now and practically has Joe wrapped around her finger whenever Tori isn't hogging the poor guy.

:star: Hobbies and Skills: :star:

:bulletpurple: (Self Proclaimed) Po-ke-oh King of Games. When she went to the alternate dimension of Tao High, she realized her alternate self was a master at this particular card game, and the intense fascination of it apparently rubbed off on her. Unfortunately, it seems that no one in Tao World has ever even heard of the game, making Ellie very disappointed.

:bulletpurple: Bitter food connoisseur. Ellie really likes bitter food; a fact that she hid from Amy and friends for fear of being seen as strange and weird. Rawst Berries, Aguav Berries, you name it! In fact, another of her goals in life is to be able to eat an entire Durin Berry by itself, and she did succeed! ...Though she fainted shortly afterwards for an entire day.

:bulletpurple: Speaking Jipango (Japanese). While she and Bandit were on their "date" at Alomomola Beach, they came across a buffet restaurant where Nibble the Mawile also worked, and to Bandit's surprise, Ellie could speak the guy's native language! She explained it was because there were a few foreigners who spoke that language in Slowpoke Slums too, so she picked up on it.

:bulletpurple: Singing and dancing. Originally inspired by Amy and friends (but never being good enough to consider herself worthy of performing with them) her recent evolutions and seeing a performance by Shou Mei, Melody, and Harmony has made her more enthusiastic about performances than ever before. And she's getting good at musicals at an amazing speed, especially now that Joe is into them, too!

:bulletpurple: Relationship counseling. People sometimes come to Ellie for advice in their relationships...even Joe and Tori. Ellie is able to sniff out what the problems are in a matter of seconds, and in this way, has single-handedly solved many of the hardest relationship cases in Tao Village.

:bulletpurple: Being a clown. Because other people's happiness is good for her health, Ellie has been trying some stand-up comedy routines as of late. She unfortunately isn't very good at it, but she does keep on trying no matter what.

:star: Life goals: :star:

To make her life mean something, to be the best there ever was at "card games", and to help Joe and Tori be happy so she can be happy too. Ideally, she also wants to find the one person who likes her for who she is and who makes her happy too, though she's not holding her breath. Oh, and she also wants to eat an entire Durin Berry by itself...without fainting for a day.

:star: Trivia: :star:

:bulletpurple: The Ralts/Kirlia/Gardevoir line are some of my favorite Generation III Pokémon. I wasn't entirely sure what I was thinking when I added Ellie as a Ralts to Team Nighty Knights when I first made them, but I'm glad to see that her personality is finally developing at a fantastic rate, equivalent to Joe's!

:bulletpurple: Her Brown Messenger Bag and the fact that her real name is Ellie were inspired by the character of Ellie from the DS game Monster Tale. Personality-wise, not so much, since the in-game Ellie, like many video game characters, has little to no personality other than the belief that "monsters are friends, not your slaves."

:bulletpurple: Originally, Ellie as a Ralts was supposed to learn about her true name when she met her mother for the first time, which was originally supposed to happen between Event 6.1 and Event 6.2. However, because she was taken to the past and evolved before all that could happen, it was Bandit who had the honors of naming her Ellie.

:bulletpurple: It wasn't until she was a Kirlia after Mission 8 that she actually met her mother...and her entire family, for that matter. And that story ended up being a collab with Gabriel, which really helped.

:bulletpurple: Ellie as a Ralts was depicted as having a helmet like any other ordinary Ralts from Event 1 to Mission 5. However, thanks to my extensive experience drawing JakeNova's Jasmine the creepy Ralts lady (now a Kirlia) in Mission 5, I had changed her' helmet to a more girly Ellie-inspired hairstyle for Mission 6 onward. (Again, it helped since she hated being seen as a boy.)

:bulletpurple: She was the first person to ever befriend Bandit the Shuppet.

:bulletpurple: She is also the first character of mine to have somehow accidentally ended up in a "love triangle" of sorts; in this case, with Bandit the Shuppet and Gabriel the Togekiss. She didn't like it. At all.
Hooray, Ellie's at her final evolutionary stage! Too bad I won't really get to do much with her now, though. ^^; Unless Cosmic-Gemini makes some sort of final story she can participate in, which I'd really look forward to.
