April 30, 2013 update: Holy heck, this meme is popular, even nearly two years after I made it! So I decided to give it a little update to make it slightly-more professional looking. True, I might not participate much in the group anymore, but I DID make this meme, so I might as well maintain it as best as I can.
Primarily for people who have teams in the group #PMD-Explorers.
You know the boxes in the PMD games used to depict the Pokémon's emotions? That is what inspired me to make this meme. These were all the expressions I could find in the games. Obviously, for those of you who have team members that can be picked as starters in the games, this may or may not be necessary, but I believe it'll be very helpful for everyone else. For those of you who are new to comics, creating convincing expressions for your characters is a very important skill to have, so here's some practice! Any style is welcome here, even pixel art! If you want, you can modify this meme so that TWO, THREE, or even FOUR of these are stacked on top of each other, if you wish to show the expressions of ALL the members of your team.
Also, the blank in the end is meant to be one extra emotion you think suits your team member best. Get creative here!
Example #1, by *BlackandRainbows, in case any of you need a reminder of what each expression might look like:< Featuring: Hope the Minccino of Team Fluffball
Example #2, by me, of how to do this for Pokemon with no mouths: Featuring: Rigley the Elgyem of Team Paion
Example #3, by =Taswer, of how to do this for Pokemon with no eyes: Featuring: Zubat of Team Eclipse
And finally, here's an example using real Charmander pictures from the games: [link]
I totally want to do one of these but i have too many characters... which one do you think i should do? xD
did you think i was gonna do an expression meme for someone else? xD
