Okay! For those of you who don't know, in the #PMD-Explorers storyline, Jasmine the Celebi has been held hostage by Shade the Zoroark, and PK and friends have gathered a super-quick rescue party to try and save her. But when they try to do so, things go horribly wrong, and as a last line of defense, Jasmine uses a super-massive Teleport attack, teleporting away a lot of people in the near vicinity and the 2nd and 4th members of every single PMD-E team, no matter where they were. But the admins didn't reveal until two weeks later that they were taken to about 200 or so years in the past. That means that Chikorita, Ralts, and Psyme the Beheeyem have been temporarily separated from my teams! Chikorita and all Merchants have been sent to the Prismatic Jungle (where they have to rescue Sherri the Cherrim and escape from the crazy jungle itself), Ralts and all Rogues have been sent to the Creeping Forest (where they have to rescue a badly wounded and confused Jasmine before it's too late), and Psyme and all Rescuers are now in Illusory Woods (where they have to apprehend Shade for her crimes).

It's true that this is a sweet opportunity to see how the remaining members of my teams will react to this development, and how they will tackle the missions on their own...and I really thought I got off lucky because of this...but as it turns out, the three members who were taken away were the ones who happened to be forced on the REAL Main Missions, and not only that, but because they're all separated, I can't have them form "The Fashion Fanatics" or any super-awesome team-ups like that! Soooooooo...

As epic as these missions in the past sound...it feels kind of a bit of a drag that I can only do them with one character each, since none of my teams have four members. And considering how poor Chikorita and Ralts are my most sensitive members who'll likely have very, very sad/horrible stories, I've decided that I'll be skipping their missions and instead wait until the aftermath of the mission to draw out their reactions to this said unexpected development. Psyme the Beheeyem is really the only competent one of the three, and I MIGHT end up doing a collab with *SnowKuki's Sam the Charmeleon of Rescuer Team Fireheart. But because we're both busy at the moment, we don't have much of an idea of how the plot will go.

Anyway, my current plans are as follows:

For the first time since Mission 2, I'll have Team Elgyem Paion and Team Pecha collab once again. Rigley will take the side mission in which he gets to comfort various people who have lost dear teammates, such as Team Heal Bell (Treble's gone missing AGAIN!?), and Team Pecha will certainly be doing the Spinda Cafe mission. In my usual coloring style. ***Currently on hold***

Title: Rigley and Amy. In the aftermath of the surprising events of Event 6.2, everyone is stunned. Ralts is gone, Chikorita is gone, and worst of all, Rigley's mom is gone, too. Wondering what to do, Archbishop Gabriel advises him to help give gifts and comfort everyone who lost teammates...although the one person for whom is the hardest for him to think of a good gift idea for is Amy. Meanwhile, Amy is determined to bury her anxieties over Chikorita by signing herself and Darren up for as many shifts at the Spinda Cafe as possible, only to find that it just might be the craziest mission ever. The place is bedlam with food fights, bar fights, and people depressed and angst-filled about losing their loved ones. Can she and Darren survive even one night? Can she entertain people and make everyone feel better, even if it's just for a little bit? And will Rigley be able to think of a way to help Amy at all?

For Team Nighty Knights, I've decided to collab with ~CrimsonAngelofShadow's Tori the Pawniard of Team Shadow Knights. She's a very good writer whose ideas and storytelling skill level matches mine in so many ways, so I'm extremely honored to be working with her! In color, with black outlines. ***In progress.***

Title: Of Knights and Pawns. Tori the Pawniard can't read a mission letter that her recently-missing partner left for her. Much to her chagrin, however, the one person who offers to read the letter for her is Bisharp, leader of Team Nighty Knights, and he insists on coming along with her on the mission so that he can recruit her for his personal Pawniard army. Behind their arguing, though, little do they know just what's in store for them on this mission to get Opal's jewels back...

Since the deadline for these missions is December 2nd, I've decided to switch my focus on Rallen and Jody for now, because in the Rigley and Amy story, the epic backstory ends up having a major effect on the titular characters' personalities, and I figured it would make more sense if I got more of the backstory done before I do the mission comic. Of course, mission comics are technically supposed to be able to stand on their own, and this one does, but...okay, I admit it. The story of Rallen and Jody feels more motivating to me at this moment, and I figure that by the time I reach the next major stopping point in the story, I'll be motivated enough to continue with Rigley and Amy. In addition, discovering what really happened to Chikorita, Ralts, and Psyme made the major comforting message of Rigley and Amy suddenly feel a lot lamer than I originally intended, so I'm hoping to slightly rework that.
